What first-person capture looks like

Your phone sits on a head mount at eye level and records exactly what you see while you work. Hands visible, real tasks, no acting.

Commercial capture must happen at real operating sites. Staged sets and mock workplaces do not qualify.

Tasks we cannot accept

  • Seated tasks. Anything performed while sitting.
  • Repetitive tasks. Repeated motions with little variation or progression.
  • Driving tasks. Anything that involves operating a vehicle.

Don't see your task?

This list is not a closed set. If you do skilled hands-on work that isn't listed, tell us the task and the environment where it is performed, and we will confirm whether it can be added for you.

How pay works

Paid per accepted hour, plus bonuses

Every individual and team is paid per accepted hour of footage, with bonus tiers on top for priority work.

Commercial activity bonus

Higher pay for priority commercial environments like plumbing and electrical, construction, and auto services.

Hard-access bonus

Higher pay for sites that are difficult to get into or rarely captured.

Low-coverage bonus

Higher pay for countries and regions where we have little coverage.

Rates are shared after your application is reviewed.

Where we need you

Every country is eligible

Commercial, industrial, and residential capture, anywhere in the world.

Countries with little existing coverage get priority. If you're somewhere others overlook, we especially want to hear from you.

Wherever you are, apply.

How it works

Four steps from application to weekly volume

You capture and upload. We handle review and everything after.

  1. Step 1

    Apply

Tell us where you are, which sites you can access and whether you are applying alone or as a team.

  2. Step 2

    Record a paid sample

Capture a short sample so we can check quality, framing and upload reliability.

  3. Step 3

    First batch

Deliver a first batch of roughly 100 to 1,500 hours across your approved sites.

  4. Step 4

    Ongoing weekly volume

Individuals and teams that perform well move to steady weekly capture volume.

Requirements

What you need

  • A commercial or industrial site with written permission from the site owner or operator, or a real home with the occupants' permission.
  • Consent from everyone recorded.
  • Natural, unscripted work with a clear purpose, done at a natural pace.
  • Clips between 1 and 30 minutes long.
  • Ability to upload large files reliably.
  • Stereo rigs are coming. We supply that hardware to qualified teams.

Quality standards

What gets paid

Footage that follows these standards is accepted and paid. Brief everyone who records for you before they start.

Camera setup

  • Head mounted, with hands the focal point and wrists and fingers visible while you work.
  • One camera only, mounted before you press record. Do not film putting it on or adjusting it.
  • No fixed or third-person camera positions, and never record someone else doing the task.
  • Do not hold the camera in your hand instead of using the head mount.

Task execution

  • The task clearly matches the one assigned and serves a real, genuine purpose.
  • Work at a natural pace without idling, long pauses or repeated actions.
  • Do not stage a task to perform it again and again.
  • Use your phone only when it is part of the task. Browsing, social media or texting is flagged.

Video quality and content

  • The camera view is never blocked or obstructed.
  • Lighting is bright enough to clearly see the task.
  • No sensitive or inappropriate content, such as nudity, violence or harassment.

Footage that is not paid

Footage flagged for feedback or fraud is not counted as an accepted hour. These are the most common reasons.

  • Recording a screen or replay

Filming a video of someone else doing the task, or replaying earlier footage.

  • Nonsensical actions

Repeatedly wiping a water bottle, or sorting peas back and forth.

  • Tasks done without purpose

Sweeping with no dirt, folding clothes that are already folded, or wiping a clean counter again and again.

  • Stationary or trivial motion

Sitting still, extremely slow movement, a camera mounted with no real interaction, or a black screen.

  • Third-person perspective

Filming another person instead of capturing your own first-person view.

  • Repeating flagged behavior

Continuing to record in dark rooms, or repeating an issue we already gave you feedback on.
